God is a communicating God.
From the beginning he walked with Adam in the garden. He has always been a God who wants to be known, not just known about.

God Wants to Communicate With You More Than You Want to Hear From Him
The question is never whether God is willing. He is — more than you know. The question is whether you are developing ears to hear what he is already saying.
He calls you friend, not servant.
A servant doesn't know what the master is thinking. A friend does. That is the posture Jesus takes toward you.
His sheep know his voice.
Not a voice they strain to hear — a voice that is familiar. The question is not whether he is speaking. It is whether you are learning to recognize it.
